As I was baby-sitting my little niece one warm August afternoon, she walked into the room with a pair of wings I had made a few years before out of twisted coat hangers and cotton fabric. She asked me to put them on her, and I did. The sun was pouring in from the french windows in my mother's room and I decided to take a few pictures of her. I was quite surprised by the result.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
